I live on the North side of Chicago with my loving husband and cat. I am a scenic designer, educator, and scenic artist, and I often assist other designers with drafting and model building. I completed my graduate degree in Sustainable Management in Spring 2023, and I am excited to actively apply my studies to the Chicago arts community and beyond. I love working on new plays, working on theatre for young audiences, designing with found materials, and striving for circularity with those materials. In the future I hope to take on more teaching, mentorship, community engagement, and organizational leadership roles.

Upcoming work:

  • Scenic designing a remount of At the Wake of a Dead Drag Queen by Terry Guest, directed by Mikael Burke, with The Story Theatre in April 2025

  • Scenic designing A Tale of Peter Rabbit by Trista Baldwin, directed by Tor Campbell, at Northwestern University in April 2025

  • Bringing Short Shakes! A Midsummer Night’s Dream by William Shakespeare, adapted and directed by Edward Hall, produced this past February at Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, to Chicago parks this summer

  • Scenic Designing Come Along for the Ride by Rozina Kanchwala from Eco. Logic, a community organization focused on education about climate change, after co-facilitating an after-school program for high schoolers to learn about the play and sustainable theatre production
